John O'Groats House Hotel (established 1875) is currently closed for major refurbishment. However the Groats Inn adjoining the Hotel is open daily from March to October throughout the main season and offers a full licence, bar and refreshments.

The Hotel is the official start and finish point for 'End to Enders'. Signing on facilities are available at the 'Groats Inn' bar and the 'Lands End Hotel'.
